Casio SK-1

So... I've heard some benders go off about the SK-1 in the past... sometimes claiming it's the pinicle of the bent world... some claiming it's the most overdone overused piece around. Well I bent my first one about two months ago for Eric Gilbert from Finn Riggins and ever since that first Casio.... I can't get it out of my head. So I've two sitting on my bench right now... waiting for me... I just finished one for myself and it's turned out well. I went off a lot of Ghazala's bend points and added some of my own...

I'm still not done tinkering with it... I'm really excited for the next SK... I'm going to add sequencing LEDs and a nice patchbay...

F.F. #5

Here is a sweet little toy that turned out to be an applicable instrument, It has one built in song and a keyboard like scale. All I added to it were three body contacts and a 100k potentiometer pitch adjustment + a quarter inch output. The built in sounds were already cool, but the added pitch control really helps to squeeze some interesting tones out of this little machine.

The first of many....

Ok... New school year, new things to think, new toys... etc... so lately I've holed up in my apartment and have begun to lose my mind... I've found something that I think I like. Taking apart toys and keyboards and tvs and effects pedals and tape recorders and all sorts of fun stuff. Pictures of projects and bends will be coming soon so stay tuned or else.
